In relation to research undertaken on the validity of the term 'avant-garde' today, I have noticed a prevalence of 'shock' tactics employed by many of our 21st century artists, innovation now reaching closer to the obscure and offensive.

 I will investigate further into these works and provide an asthetic exploration of the concepts in my fantasy curated exhibiton
